Day 4 is the first day that I actually had the energy to try to do some walking!!! With my newfound energy I managed to get on my treadmill and did a nice easy 10 minute "cooldown" walk...then I was so motivated from there that I did some lightweight arms work (by sitting on top of yoga blocks I was able to offload most of the pressure on my core). I was so proud of myself!!! Even if I didn't go faster than 1.5mph on the tread...it was definitely a win! And then I took a well-deserved nap afterwards 🤣🤣🤣
Here I am taking Jared for a stroll! Walking is recommended across the board for promoting good circulation during healing, as well as to prevent blood clots. I forgot to mention before that all this time I had been wearing sexy compression stockings to also help prevent clots. Once I was more mobile I was told I could take them off!
